The Team Store is the one place in HoopDreams where progress carries from one career to the next. Training upgrades are permanent, so a smart order of purchases makes every future player start stronger. This guide covers what to buy first, how to pay for it, and what is worth keeping in your bag.

Why training comes before everything else

Consumables help one career. Flair titles change how you look. Training tracks change every career you will ever start, because the bonus is applied to each new player you create. That makes training the best long-term value in the store, especially early on. Focus on one track at a time. Finishing a track gives you a clear, lasting edge, while spreading tokens over several tracks gives you small bonuses you will barely notice.

Picking your first track

Choose the track that matches how you like to play. If you build scorers, shooting training pays off in every season. If your careers keep ending early, durability-style training keeps players on the court into their thirties, which is where most legacy points come from.

  • Scorer builds: shooting first, then athleticism.
  • Playmakers: passing and basketball IQ.
  • Players who keep getting hurt: durability before anything else.

Tokens or bankroll cash?

Every item can be bought with tokens or with the cash your careers bank. Cash converts at a fixed rate, so it is worth using whenever you have a large bankroll sitting idle. Save tokens for moments when your bankroll is low. A good habit: at the end of each career, check your bankroll and put it straight into the next training level instead of letting it build up.

What belongs in your bag

Only two items go into the bag: Ice Bath and Team Dinner. Ice Bath shortens an injury, and Team Dinner lifts low team morale. Keeping one of each lets you react the moment something goes wrong mid-season, instead of losing games while you wait.
