Terms of service

The service

HoopDreams is a free-to-play basketball career simulator provided as-is. We add, change and remove features, and we rebalance the simulation, without notice. Free career mode includes a daily limit on how many careers you can start; Career Unlimited removes it.

Accounts

You may play as a guest with no account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under it. Provide accurate information, do not impersonate anyone, and do not share accounts. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Purchases and refunds

Optional one-time purchases unlock Ad-Free, a career bundle (Career Unlimited or Perk Vault), GM Mode, or the Everything Bundle. All prices are shown in US dollars and processed by Stripe. Purchases unlock digital content immediately and are non-refundable once the content is unlocked, except where the law of your country requires otherwise or where a purchase failed to unlock. If something did not unlock, contact us and we will fix it or refund it.

In-game tokens and cosmetics have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred between accounts.

Acceptable use

The chat room, display names and leaderboards are public. Do not post harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, threats, spam, advertising or another person's private information. Do not attempt to manipulate the leaderboard by tampering with saves, automating play or exploiting bugs, and do not attack, scrape or overload the service. We may remove content, reset leaderboard entries or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Intellectual property

The game, its code, artwork, writing and simulation model belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute them without permission. All teams, players and awards in the game are fictional. HoopDreams is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NBA or any professional league, team or athlete.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that saves, leaderboards or the service itself will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination and contact

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Questions go to support@hoopdreams.io or the contact page. See also our privacy policy.
