GM sims put you above the roster: drafting, trading, cap management, rotations. Career sims put you inside it. You cannot bench a teammate who is dragging your team down — you can request a trade, improve your own game, or accept the situation and chase individual awards instead.

That constraint is what makes career sims replayable. Two runs with the same starting build diverge because of draft position, team fit, injuries, morale and the decisions you take under pressure.

The season loop

A season is: pick your training and investments, play out the year, hit clutch moments in close games, finish in the standings, then either make a playoff run or head into the offseason. The offseason is contracts, free agency, rivalries and aging.

If you want more granularity, Full Season mode plays all 82 games night by night — pre-game preparation, roster view, transaction ledger, endorsement offers and a running win-loss record you control rather than watch.
